Gatheredly Update 1.0

Hi there! I’m Nico, I’m the founder of Gatherly.io - a new style of ticketing app that’s currently in development. Gatherly was borne out of my own struggles when I first moved to London. In a city as big and transient as ours, it can be difficult to make friends, and find things to do that you genuinely enjoy. Thus, the idea for Gatherly: an app that recommends events to you, and connects you to people who are also interested in the same stuff you are - so you can build relationships based on mutual interest and shared connection.

The mission is this - I want to be able to help people build community. 35% of Londoners report being lonely often or some of the time - a whopping 7% higher than UK average. And with exacerbating factors like COVID; the massive increase in working from home; growing social anxiety amongst young people; and many of the negative impacts of social media mean that this number is increasing year-on-year. That’s where we come in. We want to help people find their tribe, build community, and have a great time whilst doing it.

As Gatherly is currently in development, I’m going to provide you with the coolest things happening in London weekly while you wait for us to launch. All of these events will be personally vetted by me, and please feel free to send in suggestions on Instagram (@gatherlytech).
